Serenade at Quincy Bog

Time stops. Peace washes over me. Singing birds begin their serenade, and then, a burble rises from the bog, and then another. I laugh out loud at the sound. Toads join the chorus. A cool breeze wafts through the air. Periwinkle wildflowers beckon the dragonflies, who dance among them. Beauty envelops me and peace washes through my soul. 

I created this piece to remind me of this oasis of beauty, a counterpoint to the normal daily chaos. A time where I felt at peace. A welcome detour from the busy day-to-day. 

Where do you go outside to recharge? To reconnect with nature, and with the Creator?
