Lily Pond Lotus Blooms

Psalm 33:5 says, "the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord." Take the lotus flower, for example. The beauty and ephemerality of the lotus is breathtaking. They seem to almost glow in the sunlight. Scientists have been able to geminate lotus seeds over a 1000 years old! Discovered in the pyramids as well, scientists believe lotus seeds are "immortal." To me, immortality is a promise only fulfilled through faith in Jesus Christ, and the lotus flower is a striking example of this fact. My hope is to illustrate through luminous color the joy and hope I have, and that you can have as well.
